John Wallbillich is CEO, and launched Lexvista LLC in late 2006. For the prior 12 years, he was vice president & general counsel of a major natural gas pipeline joint venture of two diversified North American energy companies (El Paso and TransCanada; now wholly-owned by TransCanada). John also served as secretary and compliance officer, while leading the legal, environmental, community relations and internal audit groups.
Prior to becoming a general counsel, John spent 10 years as a corporate lawyer in private practice and as an in-house counsel. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University law school, where he was Note and Comment Editor of the law review.
John is also the creator of the Wired GC, the first weblog devoted to the role of general counsel and the inside practice of law.
